Class is back in session at the University of Oregon School of Architecture & Environment. As part of our ongoing event highlight at Archinect Partner Schools, let’s take a look at what’s in store at the College of Design in Eugene and Portland for the Fall 2024 semester.
The events start with the timely workshop on "Overcoming Academic Perfectionism," which takes place on September 12th, followed by lectures from Billy Leddy of Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects on October 14th in Eugene and Thomas Robinson of LEVER Architecture on October 16th in Portland. Back in Eugene, the Reynolds Symposium takes place from October 18th to the 19th featuring keynote speakers Evan Reis and Nicholas B. Rajkovich. You can register for the symposium here.
The month of October continues with a lecture from Barry Richards of the Rockwell Group on October 23rd and another from Maura Rockcastle on October 25th. NADAAA’s Nader Tehrani follows with his lecture in Portland on November 18th after the two-day research symposium "TEXTiles: Intertwining of Texts and Textiles from the Afro-Eurasia and the Americas," which takes place from November 16th to the 17th. Julie Eizenberg of Koning Eizenberg will deliver the semester’s final lecture at a yet-TBD date and time.
Be sure to follow our Get Lectured series for more events hosted by architecture schools. If your school is hosting a lecture, open house, or other exciting event, you can submit it directly here.
