University of Oregon seeks a Studio Instructor in Design Media and Visiting Faculty/ Professor of Practice - Department of Architecture, Design – Open Pool in Eugene, OR
Studio Instructor in Design Media details: "We particularly invite applications from candidates who have the potential to deliver visionary design studio and design media teaching that is informed by an active creative practice and by broad engagement with current discourses on design processes, design media (drawing, modeling, fabrication), introductory design studio pedagogy, and design studio teaching. Candidates should be positioned to support a diverse student body to develop the values, knowledge, skills, and practices they need to create better architecture and environments that resonate with people and their cultural, physical, and ecological worlds."
Visiting Faculty/Professor of Practice - Department of Architecture, Design – Open Pool details: "We particularly invite applications from candidates who have the potential to deliver visionary design studio and subject area teaching that is informed by an active creative practice and by broad engagement with current discourses on topics in design processes, design practices, and/or community engagement. Candidates should demonstrate excellence and/or visionary innovation in design practice in architecture or at the intersection of architecture and another related discipline."
The University of Hong Kong is hiring for five teaching positions in Hong Kong, China
Associate Professor of Practice or Senior Lecturer or Lecturer: "Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in Architecture, specialised in digital fabrication and hands-on making skills. They should be proficient in using computer-controlled fabrication machinery, including laser cutters, CNC milling machine, and 3D printers, and have experience using traditional wood and metal workshop machinery and power tools as well as robotic fabrication."
Professor in the Department of Architecture: "Applicants should have internationally recognised standing in the discipline of architecture, and a demonstrated record of research and teaching excellence in Architectural Design and/or published scholarship in architectural history and theory. The appointee will also be expected to teach architectural design studios, lecture courses and/or seminars, supervise postgraduate students and conduct research."
Tenure-Track Associate/Assistant Professor in Architectural Environmental Technology: "Applicants should possess a postgraduate and professional degree in the relevant field. Preference will be given to those holding professional qualifications and/or a Ph.D. degree in Architecture, Environmental Engineering, or an affiliated discipline such as Civil and Mechanical Engineering."
Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Architectural Design: "Applicants should possess a postgraduate and professional degree in Architecture. [...] They should demonstrate an established record of research, teaching and critical practice in the form of design projects or creative work, and the capacity to integrate different elements of their research and practice into teaching."
Tenure-Track Associate/Assistant Professor in Architectural Structures and Building Technology: "Applicants should possess basic qualifications including a Master of Architecture or a Master of Science (or equivalent international degrees). Preferably, applicants should also possess a Ph.D. degree in the fields of architecture or engineering (or equivalent international degrees), or submit evidence of current enrolment in a Ph.D. or equivalent international degree-granting programmes."

"The University of Oregon in Eugene and Portland, Oregon invites applications for Visiting Faculty Fellowships in Design for Spatial Justice at the rank of assistant, associate, or full professor or professor of practice in the areas of architecture, landscape architecture, and interior architecture in the School of Architecture & Environment in the College of Design. The School of Architecture & Environment will award up to three faculty fellowships in design/research informed teaching for durations of one to two years, Each fellow will be expected to teach two courses per quarter (six courses per year) and contribute to scholarship, service, and public programming."
