Mississippi State University has announced the appointment of Professor Dominic Lippillo as the interim associate dean for the institution’s College of Architecture, Art, and Design. The photography professor takes up the position previously filled by Professor Jeffrey Haupt, who retired in November 2022.
Lippillo served as an assistant professor of photography at MSU since 2010 before earning the full rank of professor. He will take up the role of interim associate dean on January 1st, 2024, where he hopes to further the college’s “supportive atmosphere for faculty, staff and students.”
“I am really excited to be working closely with all four units of CAAD, and I’m eager to serve in this capacity,” Lippillo said about the appointment. “I want to grow as much as I possibly can, try different things, and see where I can be beneficial to the college and the university. I still love teaching, and I love doing research, but I want to see where else I can make a difference.”
