The University of Michigan offers a Fellowship in Architecture (2024-'25)
Location: Ann Arbor, MI
Details: "The architecture fellowships at Taubman College are among the oldest and most recognized positions of their kind, offering early career opportunities for individuals seeking to make a significant and timely development of their work within an intellectually wide-ranging and dynamic academic setting. Each fellowship entails teaching related to the candidate’s area of interest, resources for the development of work, possibilities to interface with scholars and researchers in the wider university context, and the opportunity to share the outcome of the fellowship with the college. Fellows spend two years in residence, typically teaching three classes in their first year and four in their second, in addition to pursuing their fellowship project. Syracuse University offers the Harry der Boghosian Fellowship (2024-'25)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Details: "The Harry der Boghosian Fellowship is an endowed faculty fellowship that enables faculty, early in their teaching careers, to spend a year in residence at the Syracuse University School of Architecture. The recipient, over the course of an academic year, will develop a body of design research while teaching at the school. Fellows will teach one studio and two elective courses over two semesters that focus on the Fellow’s research project. Bard College offers an Architectural Fellowship

Details: "Bard College invites applications for its 2024-2026 Architecture Fellowship. This two-year fellowship is awarded biennially to an emerging architect, urban designer, landscape architect or other spatial practitioner whose creative work and research advances new cultures of design that address a larger public. The fellowship is intended to support those embarking on a career in research and design pedagogy and to provide a context in which to develop new modes of thought relevant to the urgencies of the present." The Ohio State University offers the Howard E. LeFevre '29 Emerging Practitioner Fellowship
Location: Columbus, OH
Details: "The annual fellowship offers the opportunity and resources for an emerging practitioner to pursue an advanced research project directed toward expanding the boundaries of the discipline. Past fellows have explored a broad range of topics relative to contemporary issues in the discipline and its cultural context. Since 2000, the LeFevre Fellowship has supported architects and designers with a range of research interests, including history, theory, contemporary culture, media, technology, material assembly, and advanced digital techniques. We seek candidates to continue the tradition of supporting innovative research centered on topics relevant to the continued evolution of disciplinary practice." Read more here.
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee offers a Fellowship
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Details: "Fellows at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee are required to conduct design research and participate actively in the SARUP community through the teaching of studios and seminars. The two-year fellowship comprises teaching responsibilities that center on the core studio curriculum at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Equally important is the elective studio and seminar driven by the fellow's research agenda. By the end of the fellowship, fellows are expected to complete a final project suitable for national dissemination. Fellowship recipients will also deliver a lecture about their research in the SARUP Lecture Series and disseminate their findings through various channels like peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and other written media. Additionally, an exhibit related to their work will be displayed in SARUP's gallery. The Department of Architecture stands firm on its commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse institution, welcoming candidates from various backgrounds to contribute positively to its diverse community."
