The University of Tennessee - Knoxville
Position: Dean, College of Architecture + Design

University of Manitoba
Position: Department Head and Associate Professor, Dept. of Architecture
Location: Winnipeg, MB, CA
Details: The Department of Architecture invites applications for a 5-year term position as Head and a full-time tenured position at the rank of Associate Professor, commencing July 1, 2021, or on a date mutually agreed upon. The Head of the Department of Architecture will provide supportive leadership in the development of pedagogy, curriculum, research, student recruitment, and faculty development, as well as interdisciplinary initiatives within the Faculty and the University. As Head, the candidate will foster dialogue about studio teaching, historical, theoretical, and technical education, and build on the existing strengths of the department. The Head will build upon existing and forge new, relationships with students, faculty, staff, community members, alumni, and professional bodies. Most critically, the Head will guide the department in responding to urgent issues such as climate change, environmental destruction, and human rights and social justice.
Wayne State University
Position: Assistant Professor Interior Design
Location: Detroit, MI
Details: The College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts of Wayne State University is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time tenure-track appointment as Assistant Professor in Interior Design in the James Pearson Duffy Department of Art and Art History. The successful candidate will teach courses in Interior Design and may teach in other areas of the department that connect to the candidate’s research expertise. The candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, conduct a program of creative and/or scholarly work, contribute to curriculum development and other aspects of the intellectual life of the department, and provide appropriate professional service.

Syracuse University
Position: Harry der Boghosian Fellowship
Application Deadline: January 15, 2021
Details: The Harry der Boghosian Fellowship is an endowed faculty fellowship that enables faculty, early in their teaching careers, to spend a year in residence at the Syracuse University School of Architecture. The recipient, over the course of an academic year, will develop a body of design research while teaching at the school. Fellows will teach one studio and two elective courses over two semesters that focus on the Fellow’s research project. The combined research and teaching will culminate in a public lecture and exhibition at the end of the spring semester.
