As we're all becoming more fluent in connecting with others online during this time of quarantine, online events offer a fantastic opportunity to connect with others, while continuing to learn, network and stay inspired.
The only problem is that there hasn't been a clear way to track and vet all of these new event offerings. We're all getting a little overwhelmed with the number of virtual/online events that are popping up every day. To help make sense of all these events, our new Virtual Event Guide will track the most exciting online events for the architecture & design community, from hosts experienced with managing online events, featuring individuals and topics that address the most important issues of our time.
The goal of Archinect has always been to “make architecture more connected and open-minded, by bringing together designers and architects from around the world to introduce new ideas to the industry.” The Virtual Event Guide is a continuation of that mission during this time of crisis. It is a highly curated list of the best virtual events for the architecture community. Our aim is to vet, synthesize and consolidate the growing list of online event options arising as we all learn new ways to learn, grow, and connect during this time.

As part of this new initiative, Archinect will also be hosting a number of virtual events and we are eager to hear from experts in highly specific topic areas to collaborate with us on future online events to support our industry. We have already started hearing from professionals across the industry and look forward to continued collaboration. Whether it’s BIM, small business federal loans/grants, virtual reality, codes and regulations, fabrication, or even expertise in a certain project type, we want to hear from you. Reach out to us at events@archinect.com if you feel you have a specialty that would be of value to the architecture industry during this time.
We encourage our community to submit events for consideration as well. Our in-house team will review and vet every submission to ensure the Virtual Event Guide includes only the highest quality, well organized and important online events. Advertising and sponsorship opportunities for event organizers and businesses are now available. Those who would like to be a part of this fast-growing movement should reach out to us to learn more about these opportunities.
This is a time for all of us to stay connected, learn from one another, and share in the collective effort to ensure the architecture industry maintains a strong, relevant voice. We are looking forward to working together, with the community, to push forward with education, inspiration, growth, and connection during this time of crisis.
