The answer is we need multiple types of spaces — open, closed and in between. A lot of shared offices have glass walls to separate but keep a non-claustro feel. Having an open plan is fine if you have large desk space and some separation
That above space is beautiful, but a bad office plan. I don't want to have to face someone. Need single direction seating, or L shaped workspaces with some vertical block.
