Archinect's Architecture School Lecture Guide for Spring 2019
It's time for Archinect's latest Get Lectured, an ongoing series where we feature a school's lecture series—and their snazzy posters—for the current term. Check back regularly to keep track of any upcoming lectures you don't want to miss.
Want to share your school's lecture series? Send us your school's lecture series poster and details to connect@archinect.com.
The CMU School of Architecture's Spring '19 lecture series will host talks by an international lineup of speakers. The series kicks off next week with Kipp Bradford on “The Hot Earth Catalog: Solutions for a Warming Planet”; SITU's Brad Samuels will give a lecture called “Undisciplined”; and Jeremy Smith of New Zealand-based Irving Smith Architects will talk about “Soft Architecture: is being finished finished?”.
Louis Becker of Henning Larsen Architects will talk about Nordic Aesthetics and Research-based Design; and Toshiko Mori will give the 2019 ACSA Topaz Keynote, while Wang Shu will give the ACSA Gold Medal Keynote.
