The USC School of Architecture will start their Spring '19 lecture series tomorrow with a lecture by Monica Ponce de Leon. Themed “Capital”, this lecture series features a line-up of speakers who will explore how architecture is a unique carrier of both social and financial capital. They will “discuss how they use their creative work to critique and facilitate the production of social and financial capital for their clients and users,” says USC School of Architecture Dean Milton S. F. Curry.
The line-up includes Cruz Garcia + Nathalie Frankowski of WAI Architecture Think Tank, Kunlé Adeyemi, Charles Waldheim, Teddy Cruz + Fonna Forman, Angela Brooks + Larry Scarpa, and more.
The Spring '19 events program also includes exhibitions like “Ed Ruscha: Films”, a pop-up screening of two of only three films that iconic L.A. artist Ed Ruscha ever made.
