Architecture, as a professional practice, is deeply related to its schools and to the academic world. Architects are the product of many experiences, but their time in school tends to heavily shape the designers they will become. Many of the most accomplished architects teach, whether it be full studios, seminars, or guest lectures. Some argue that teaching enhances their architectural practice. In our ongoing series, Deans List, we ask architecture schools' deans about the relationship between professional practice and academia.
