Architecture Lobby Los Angeles Launch Party + Think In | October 21, recommended by Nicholas Korody
The Architecture Lobby, "an organization of architectural workers advocating for the value of architecture in the general public and for architectural work within the discipline", is launching an LA branch this week. To celebrate, they're hosting a party at Jai & Jai Gallery in Chinatown, followed by a "think-in" the next day at UCLA (with an all-star roster of participants). Both events are free and not to be missed!

Stop by Materials & Applications for their latest exhibition, The Kid Gets Out of the Picture, which is open now until January 8. Co-curated by Los Angeles Design Group with First Office, Laurel Broughton/Andrew Kovacs, and Hirsuta, the exhibition remixes the aesthetic principles of early 19th century English landscape architecture.
