Minimalism isn't a real thing. It's a lazy term for "blank white walls" which is generally a boring design strategy outside of a museum, unless you design solitary confinement torture chambers or boring condos. It's a misguided strategy inspired by Corbusier, whose work was rich and multilayered on the interior. This is just bad design that caters to a fuzzy idea of Instagram elitism--only a few examples above would even apply.
