Many in the west too often think of Beirut as a city scarred by war and terror. But the capital of Lebanon is a beautiful, modern city, one utterly remade after the country’s civil war ended in 1990. Gleaming skyscrapers tower over historic and pre-war modernist architecture, drenched in color and bathed in sunlight. It provides no end of inspiration for Serge Najjar, whose gorgeous photos of the city fill his Instagram. — Wired

I love Beirut. My favorite city in the Middle East by a long margin. Fascinating history, interesting architecture, and best food too.
... means you haven't heard of the garbage crisis in Beirut lately?
I haven't been to Beirut in about 2 years.
Beautiful photos - but, but, but ... no girls?
Architectural photography is being suffocated by the Instagram tendency to flatten. I'm sure the architecture is much more interesting and vibrant in real life
This guy has a brilliant eye. He has the ability to turn any common space into a work of art
Agreed. Very picturesque.
That first one, with the subtle color differences behind the shades, is beautiful.
