Related Midwest, the Chicago division of New York-based Related Cos., will honor the prolific, albeit little-remembered, Chicago architect Edward H. Bennett and name its 843-foot apartment and condo tower at 451 E. Grand Ave. "One Bennett Park." [...]
"I think that the buyers and the people who rent in this building will be people that are interested in architecture. I think they're the types of people who will recognize the Bennett name and who will be interested in learning more."

Fun fact: Bennett was also co-planner (w/ Daniel Burnham) on the seminal 1909 Plan of Chicago.
Later in his career he consulted to other cities, providing 'city beautiful' plans for their downtowns. Pasadena's civic center is an interesting example that was actually implemented; Bennett's plan continues to shape urban design decisions and debates there today.
No one would be excited to live in One Sink Park. Sounds too dangerous :-(
Someone should start Grafitti-ing buildings with the architects names.
How about The Sink ?
("Yeah, I live over in The Sink on the 8th floor.")
You live in The Sink?! Me, too!
There was a legendary bar in Boulder named The Sink.
Oh hey, it's still there!
there is already a project named "New York by Gehry" which despite sounding pretentious at least is named after an architect who designed it.
I guess Chicago by Stern doesnt have the same cachet :(
