Apparently the politicos have already been bought off, or maybe they're just negotiating bigger kickbacks.
I know this building is a maintenance nightmare, but it's truly one of the more interesting brutalist buildings out there. A lot of ideas to cull from it.
Would have appreciated if Kimmelman had actually visited the site to see how it compares with other Rudolph works. Just because brutalism is a thing now doesn't mean it's a good building or not.
