2014 was a great year for architecture, and a great year for Archinect. Our job board saw record growth, reflecting a healthy recovery in the industry following the devastating recession. Issues of human rights, preservation, academia, publications and labor consistently dominated our pages. As the internet continues to move discussions away from publications to social networks, Archinect's increase in volume in the forum and comments sections proves that we're continuing to provide a platform to facilitate communication across diverse social circles.
As we wind down 2014 I've scoured the archives and website analytics in an attempt to most accurately represent 2014, month by month, by sharing the most popular stories, job opportunities and discussions. I hope you enjoy the look back, and I wish all of our valued readers the best of luck for the new year!
