that's great, but any idea as to whether this will actually pass?
it would be ALOT better if they would add recycling/compost bins in honolulu, and so many restaurants stopped using heaps of plastic bags, styrofoam take out containers, etc.
this will have little impact, considering the amount of flights to, from and between the islands as well as the mountains of trash exported from the state.
honolulu could be a green mecca. ample rain, sun - a beautiful landscape worth keeping. unfortunately, it doesn't look like hawaiians want it to stay that way.
but at least they'll be recycling more construction waste...
