Congratulations to our friend John Cary for his recent appointment as CEO and President of Next American City.
Before joining Next American City, John served as executive director of San Francisco nonprofit Public Architecture, building it into the leading national advocate for public-interest design and recruiting over 750 firms to pledge tens of millions of dollars in pro bono design services annually.
Some of you may also remember John's previous roles as AIAS National Vice President and co-founder of ArchVoices.
