The complete re-design/re-fit of Majesty of the Seas - a 12 deck cruise ship of the Sovereign class.
A year in advance preparation of design/renovation planning leading up to a 4 week dry dock in Freeport, Bahamas the ship was completely re-finished throughout. The budget of $50 million provided upgrades to all venues (dining, spa, public spaces, bars, staterooms). A construction crew of 1200 worked 24/7 during the dry dock period to complete the undertaking.
Responsibilities extended to design team management and direction, weekly half day project management reviews with all key departments, shipboard executive, etc. Regular executive design reviews up to and including the Chairman's office were a part of the scope.
