The commission consisted of selecting an undeveloped space within the Central Campus of the University of Cuenca to design a multipurpose pavilion intended for
graduate students.
It was decided to locate the structure on a plot delimited by three existing walls, aiming to establish a direct connection with the pre-existing plaza.
The construction system is mixed, with steel columns and laminated wood roofing. Additionally, the project includes a solar control system using perforated metal louvers that can rotate as needed.
The pavilion program is straightforward, consisting solely of a service and storage module, along with the space designated for classrooms.
