Honolulu, HI
The ambience of the office structure was designed to be artistic yet refined, of the Bali-style, with a slightly arched roof reminiscent of the thatched huts of Bali, using ironwood roof shingles and exposed rafters at the eave. The floor plan is small, just 625 SF with an open floor plan. It has an entry alcove, with a client meeting area on one side and the office area and outdoor covered patio at another. One of the highlights of the design is the fountain wall made of natural rock from Hawaii that flows into a channel inside the office.
Every element of this structure was custom-made for this building. The wooden louvers, the pocketing window shades, and the large operable doors at the end of the structure were custom fabricated.
