The scope at Immanuel Lutheran Church included a new code compliant slate roof, all new flashings, sheet metal tile cladding at the steeple, and miscellaneous stone repairs. Archival research was conducted to facilitate an appropriate design approach. Careful detailing was necessary due to specific material choices and an interest in historical appropriateness, and a highly skilled contractor needed to be thoroughly vetted to ensure a quality job.
