Milestone Senior Residence represents a significant milestone in the realm of affordable senior living, set in the heart of Washington, D.C. As the project architect, I've played a central role in guiding the development of this community-based initiative, a project with a modest scale, comprising 60 units and encompassing 54,600 square feet of Gross Square Footage (GSF). This endeavor plays a pivotal role within the framework of the low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) program, demonstrating our unwavering dedication to sustainable, inclusive, and socially equitable design. Completed in 2020, Milestone Senior Residence is more than just a housing project for seniors; it's a catalyst for the broader rejuvenation of the East Washington D.C. area, striving to promote inclusivity and age-friendliness. 

Its strategic location and commitment to LIHTC underline our pledge to address the housing needs of seniors while contributing to the overall betterment of the community. Milestone Senior Residence stands as a testament to the significance of affordable senior living in the context of community redevelopment.
