Landmark

To maintain its competitive edge as one of the world’s most successful mixed-use centers, Landmark has undergone multiple additions and renovations by KPF and associated architects over the last twenty plus years.

From 1996-2006, the multi-phased revitalization included replacing the original tower and podium façades, creating double-height storefronts including flagship presences for Harvey Nichols and Louis Vuitton, adding new atria and entrances, expanding the retail and dining area, upgrading the interior finishes and skylights, converting the lower portion of the Edinburgh Tower into a boutique Mandarin Oriental hotel, and replacing an outmoded structure with a new, 23-story office tower (York House.) For this work, KPF served as Concept and Detail Design Architect with Aedas as Master Planner, Retail Design Architect and Authorized Person (AP).

From 2006-2013, KPF continued its work with the redesign and updating of Landmark’s retail interiors, office lobbies, restaurant terraces, food hall, and public toilets.

A high-profile destination with direct connections to Hong Kong’s mass transit system and airport line, the renovated and expanded Landmark engages and enhances its Central locale by offering a best-in-class, integrated, 24-hour lifestyle, work, and leisure environment.
