Edge at 30 Hudson Yards

The highest outdoor observation deck in the Western Hemisphere, Edge reveals never-before-seen 360-degree views of New York City and beyond spanning up to 80 miles.

Edge cantilevers 80 feet from the 100th floor of 30 Hudson Yards, the tallest building in the development and second tallest office building in New York City. Piercing the sky at 1,131 feet, Edge’s monumental triangular form completes the tower’s architectural dialogue with the city, and welcomes visitors out into unobstructed views of the skyline and Hudson Yards below. Angled, mullion-free glass panels surround the deck, inviting visitors to lean out into the skyline. Bleacher steps create a perch in the sky and connect Edge with the building’s 101st floor. A 225-square-foot glass floor, part of the geometry of the building, puts visitors directly above Manhattan’s bustling streets.

A marvel of modern engineering and structural design, the 765,000-pound observation deck is comprised of 15 sections, each weighing between 35,000 and 100,000 pounds, bolted together and anchored to the east and south sides of the building.
