The original image was a picture of the current U.S/ Mexico border. This corten steel wall divides the countries and prevents any unwanted intruders from crossing the countries borders. Although the wall is there to prevent people from crossing there are people who still try and succeed even when it is not permissible. In this narrative the original single standing wall has been transformed into a maze making it more difficult to travel through and more importantly escape the countries boundaries. The story suggests that people from San Diego and Tijuana are both trying to escape their current lives and seek new fortunes across the wall.
