Resolving disputes outside of formal litigation has grown increasingly popular as people choose to resolve their differences through mediation, outside of the courtroom. I designed a dedicated building for this trend, where the needs of duelling parties informs all aspects of design; circulation intersections, client privacy, environment, and transparency are among the primary considerations. Several interviews with conflict negotiators were critical in interpreting these processes tectonically.
