We are currently seeking a Project Architect to join our Interiors group. The selected candidate will work as a key part of the interiors team. They will develop design concepts, material palettes, FF+E packages, and technical drawings including interior detailing and associated schedules. This candidate will also work closely with project design teams on all phases of project development (from planning and concept through design, FF+E selection, and construction documents) for high-profile public and private sector clients.

 Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture with a passion for interior architecture
  • 5-10 years' relevant experience working on interior architecture projects
  • Demonstrated ability to manage/coordinate projects (or defined portion of a larger projects) from concept through construction documentation; and assist during construction administration, punch list, and close-out/installation
  • Experience with materials selection, specification, and detailing
  • Experience in sustainable design and healthy building materials (LEED/ Well/ Parsons Healthy Materials Lab accreditation is a plus)
  • Strong aesthetic sense and design sensibility
  • Experience preparing technical interiors documentation, including finish/furniture  drawings, fabrication details, and specifications
  • Experience working with furniture dealers manufacturers and vendors to produce FF+E packages (contract furniture experience preferred), procurement, and installation
  • Self directed and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work on various project typologies
  • Work well independently and with project teams
  • Outstanding graphic, 3D presentation, and production skills
  • Proficiency with Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design-related programs
  • Familiarity with NYC/NYS regulatory and life safety codes 
  • NYS Architectural Registration or NCIDQ preferred
  • Authorized to work in the United States 

Compensation

Salary $80 - $115k commensurate with experience.
