Diller Scofidio + Renfro is looking to make an addition to our Business Development team which is responsible for acquiring new projects worldwide. The candidate must be a proactive, and resilient working in a fast-paced, creative environment. The role will involve working collaboratively with DS+R’s four partners, senior leadership and the marketing, communications and business development team to communicate DS+R’s ethos and portfolio of work, which focuses on civic and cultural works that include some of New York’s most high profile architectural projects – The High Line, Lincoln Center, The Shed, and the Museum of Modern Art, as well as art installations, exhibitions and performance works. The successful candidate will conduct active research and production for business development materials, including presentations, pitch decks, proposal submissions (RFQs and RFPs) and portfolios. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and will require reporting to our studio in-person to collaborate with the team.

Qualifications:

• MA or BA Degree in Architecture or similar degree in a related creative field;
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within an architecture, design, or related practice;
• Knowledge of DS+R’s work and the architectural field in general;
• Strong writing and copy editing abilities
• Graphic skills emphasizing layout and image selection;
• Superior communication and organizational skills;
• the ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe InDesign.
