Studio Tre is a design practice working across a wide-ranging scale of interior and building design.

Current projects span the Americas and Europe, from residential to commercial in use, building upon the experience of the three founders’ leadership of building projects across the globe for discerning clientele and past associated design studios.

The studio was founded in 2022, and maintains offices in New York and Florida.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Studio Tre seeks an Interior Designer, with 8-10 years experience in single family high end residential working within an established Interior Design or Decorating practice to join the growing studio. This person must have residential experience. 

Interior Designer reports directly to the Partner in charge of Interior Design & Decoration, and will assist across a number of residential and commercial/hospitality projects to realize the vision and finer details established by Studio Tre. Tasks include design assistance and support, inventory management and vendor coordination, procurement of samples and estimates for decorative work, coordination with the in-house architectural side of the studio, and interfaces with the Accounting department of the studio as required. Responsibilities will evolve to include local shopping and site travel, as required by the projects. Ideal candidates will be diligent, highly organized, with a sharp attention to detail, and possess a self-starting team-oriented attitude. Interest and hands-on experience in varied forms of craft, art, and design is always considered a plus. 

The position is full-time, and requires five (5) days a week presence at the Studio on 20th Street in the Flatiron neighborhood of New York. Technical requirements : 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Studio Designer design management software. 
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite. Command of Photoshop and InDesign is desired. 
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, with a minimum ability to use the software to verify dimensions. Further experience is a considered a plus, but not required.
