JLGA is currently working with the NYC SCA to design a standalone School Annex that can offer expanded facilities and an optimized learning environment to better serve the students of PS-85 in Queens. The Annex will accommodate over 400 students with 7 classrooms for Pre-K and Kindergarten, 15 academic classrooms for grades 1-5, a cafeteria, and a gym-auditorium within a footprint of approximately 20,000 SF.

The project approach is to create a strong visual design aesthetic that emphasizes simple lines and logical geometries while leveraging cost effective design approaches.
