A previously combined prewar apartment on East End Avenue required a complete untangling of a maze of hallways and bedrooms to create the open light filled spaces requested by the owners. The resulting enfilade of common rooms brings order and direction, with ample space for a multigenerational family to roam free, yet maintain distinct functions within the adjacent spaces and discreet living quarters. A true collaboration between us and the owners, we selected and supervised the interior furnishings, art and lighting throughout with custom designed millwork and cabinets wrapping each room.
