FOLLY: C

Folly:C is a prototype for a playspace influenced by the post-WWII Adventure Playgrounds and their ingenious use of what would otherwise be waste, and the programmatic and formal blending of the playground designed by Isamu Noguchi and Louis Kahn. Historically, a folly is defined as a decorative construction that has developed to assume some practical functions. Folly:C exploits this definition: it is a fantastical structure, used as a playspace, and also has positive environmental, educational and tax benefits.
