Located in the neighborhood of Crown Heights, this condo unit is categorized as quality housing. Maximizing allowed floor-area ratio, Gradient found an opportunity to express its inherent verticality while breaking up the facade to a more humane scale. By using a brick screen, the brick system becomes modularized and allows for ample light to come through the stairs.

The tight floor area of the condo units provide for an interesting challenge to maximize living and dining areas. The solution was to propose an integrated long table with ample storage. The structure is expressed within the gaps of the white oak cladding finish, and accents are wrapped in blackened steel sheet finish.
