San Francisco, CA
At the end of Phase I construction, Loyola and Santa Rita Elementary Schools received modernized permanent facilities and are prepared for future classroom, multipurpose, and library expansion. At Santa Rita, the work modernized existing structures, demolished the administration building to make way for expansion of the parking lot/student drop-off area, and reconfigured the kindergarten wing as administration and kindergarten. Existing structures at Loyola were modernized and a small addition to the multipurpose building added to serve as a new office. A new indoor/outdoor stage was created for the multipurpose building. Site work at both schools addressed existing drainage problems and prepared the site for Phase II construction.
