wtf. is it common to have your portfolio returned to you from an (graduate) academic institution with MISSING PAGES?? i had applied to the school....
It isn't common to get a portfolio returned to you at all but I'd suggest contacting the dean regarding the missing pages. That is if you think the work was the good. Universities should not tolerate theft or plagiarism.
Each of the [several] schools I applied to had options to have portfolios returned, Orochi. I got a couple back, no pages missing. They were a bit worn at the edges, but that's about it...
it was an older project fairly executed but with a strong concept...they literally tore it out from the perforations...
i mailed two portfolios (one with my undergraduate work and the other with my thesis) for grad school apps. a particular school only mailed one portfolio back.
