applying for march 1 and is confused whether to go for simple spiral binding or book binding .how is every one binding their portfolios and which type of binding is generally recommended ????

just my opion but I quite like sprial binding because it lets you open up the book nice& wide. especially if you have photos spreads reaching across both pages.
At UCLA's open house this October they had a portfolio workshop and said that spiral bindings are fine. I did a wire bind (same idea) for mine because I have renders crossing over the pages. It just depends on the portfolio and while some may be pickier than others, in the end it is about the portfolio content, not the binding.
