Inward Panorama

mack

Is anyone familiar with exporting an inward looking panorama from 3ds max 2009. I know its possible to create a regular panorama (camera in center of room looking out), but is it possible to create one where the camera is looking at an object, and the object is spinning? Please help if you can.

put the object on a turntable and the camera on a tripod. click, turn, click, turn, click, turn... and then stitch together.

that should work, right? you'd need to hanging a flat coloured backing sheet to make the stitching easier.

sorry, wasn't actually paying attention to the question!

but in 3ds you can animate the camera on a circular path, if that helps?

"Inward Panorama"

sounds like a euphemism for dropping acid
or 40 days in the desert

marvelously ass-backwards turn of phrase
thanks, mack

and there's always david hockney depending on what it is exactly that you want.
