using architecture 2009, i don't know what i did to change the setting, but when i want to 3d orbit and hit the button, the program has defaulted to "swivel" instead of orbiting as expected. I have not manually changed any settings but this is absolutely killing my productivity.
other times it has gone to fly by default when calling up the 3dorbit command... what gives?
any ideas about how to restore this setting so that 3d orbit is initiated upon the command instead of swivel?

still use 08...not sure about your buttons for orbit I use: alt+v, b, f
in 2009 we had to go into the cui and make a command for 3d orbit with center point.....
