you maybe should have specified in your subject like which part of 'cali' you're referring to. had to dig deep into your post to get that you're moving to L.A. good luck though, LA is awesome.

tree, ...considering that i havent really PM on anything large, that might be hard to sell...... but i think once i show my portfolio i should be ok.... just looking to be an employee at a firm now.....

NB... unless a firm calls me from s.f. then i'll be there...... but i think most of the opportunities are in l.a. for me......

Could be right. The office is like a mausoleum, but the factory might be a good fit for you.

i'll contact MR again....last time they were not looking for anyone...... but i'll check into there shop space and see........

i might build a crate to ship my tools at a later date....so i dont have to drive cross country.... would be cool so setup a little model shop just to make some extra funds.....

a hint, once you land there, stop referring to it as "cali".

good luck on the move and congrats for taking the plunge.

The people at MRA are friendly, but very focused on their work. There are high expectations placed on mid level staff that enter the office (project managers).

There are tours organized every once and a while to the Prefab factory....
