Is Grandfathering Still Possible?

s=r*(theta)

So I was in discussion w/ an old colleague whom I befriended when i started my career 2000. At the time this person had just recently finished a 2yr tech school. Anyhow said individual has remained at the same company these past 14yrs. In our recent conversation the topic came up if said individual could be grandfathered a license due to thier 14yr work history? Does NCARB or AIA still do this?

It will vary based on the registration board's education requirements, but there are many that allow experience alone plus IDP to count for education. No NAAB degree necessary.
