Polycarbonate Wall Cladding

cars

Can anybody think of any buildings in the US that make use of polycarbonate sheets for exterior wall cladding? I'm trying to find an example similar to the Laban Building in London by HdeM... also, i'm looking for general ideas on how to detail said product to a metal frame of some sort... any thoughts?

Richard and Bauer have one in Phoenix... I believe it is a library called "Desert Broom". They use polycarb as an ext/int wall surface with standard yellow batts inside... its lovely.

Also - I think there are details of the HdM buidling in "Detail" mag from sometime around 2004/2005. check out their website.

I'd also call up a greenhouse supply place - they probably have the most experience with this material.

Gallina USA comes to mind as a large polycarb mfr.

polycarb details much like glass (minus the excessive weight requirements) with respect to fastners, edges, etc. I would think you may want to begin your research there.
