i know nothing of l.a. is the house in a bad neighborhood? if it is, it's actually a rather clever design idea.
in detroit, people will leave the outside of their house looking like shite, but spend all their money on the interior space. why? because property tax assessments are usually based on a drive-by appraisal. if the outside looks too good, you'll pay for it.
jafidler, Venice is way over-priced. It's not really that bad of a neighborhood anymore, and it's adjacent to the beach. There are a lot of really crappy apartments in Venice that go for 4 times what I pay and I am only 4 miles inland from the Venice.
Hmmm... I wonder if 2 miles away are only 2 times more than me.
How would you like to live in a concrete box in Venice?
Only 13 million US $

funny because the curbed article lnks to brian murphy construction and design which links to http://www.bamcdi.com/studionotes07.html
better than living in a cardboard house in Venice
the inside looks pretty great.
Did they have neighborhood council design reviews when this was built?
fuck the concrete box, did you see the inside of that baby! Great stuff.
Wow that is a beautiful interior space....almost liek something from Tattoine?
I mean i'm not feeling the kitchy decor, but the basics of the space are really nice.
That interior space is amazing, but not 13 million dollar amazing. Maybe take off the 1.
you cant get a tear down in Venice for less that $3million
is it within walking distance to the starbuck's at st. mark's?
where in venice are there roads with stop signs??????????
i didnt see any when i was there
CA not Italy.
haha.. ah.. ok im dumb.. never heard of that
thanks
Oh and p.s. nice to know that both the insanely wealthy and my broke college friends prefer pillows as the seating element of choice.
