I mean i'm not feeling the kitchy decor, but the basics of the space are really nice.

Oh and p.s. nice to know that both the insanely wealthy and my broke college friends prefer pillows as the seating element of choice.

i know nothing of l.a. is the house in a bad neighborhood? if it is, it's actually a rather clever design idea.

in detroit, people will leave the outside of their house looking like shite, but spend all their money on the interior space. why? because property tax assessments are usually based on a drive-by appraisal. if the outside looks too good, you'll pay for it.

jafidler, Venice is way over-priced. It's not really that bad of a neighborhood anymore, and it's adjacent to the beach. There are a lot of really crappy apartments in Venice that go for 4 times what I pay and I am only 4 miles inland from the Venice.

Hmmm... I wonder if 2 miles away are only 2 times more than me.
