Does anyone know what the office environment/pay is like in some of the minimalist firms in the UK/ London? I am moving to London to do my masters, but decided to do a little more professional work first. I was thinking of applying to Pawson's, Chipperfield's, Seth Stein, Conder's offices. What is it like? Anyone know anything about these work places? Can you recommend any other offices that might be similar?
The lighting in that office looks nice. It almost looks like they are in a 3dstudio/global illumination model. I wonder if anyone has any comments to make about the way it looks at say...3am? Anybody know?
that butt belongs to Caius Pawson (son of john pawson),
he's part of a DJ collective in london called The Young Turks, seems they organise pretty decent parties.
I think the pre-fab stuff is a bit strange. Not because the design, but just because prefab is always a bit hermetic. What's the office like? Its a little hard to see what all of his work is like. His site has been down for a while, and the pdf download on the homepage is a bit low quality.

I don't have any answers to your queries.
But I like your user name.

he means they use the hans wegner y chair.
frankly, i'm surprised that many people are allowed to wear black.
it's nice for short durations, but i can't imagine sitting in it all day.
isn't pawson an eton alum w/ loads of family money?
I guess sitting on the floor was not quite an option?
what's more minimal than a few tatami and an imac?
and who's the dude who's screen is 2x as big as all the others?
