I am so how a reluctant rockies fan now I guess. I live in Denver, but have always hated the team's colors, uniform design, logo, mascot, etc...superficial , I know, but they always sucked and the whole package was ugly. It is all hard to get used to lately, At least the Red Sox insigia and colors, are integrated in American culture more. When I see a fan wearing a CR hat, I still just think of Nascar , for some reason. When I see a Red Sox cap, I think...of...

here's something weird. I was in a book store in NYC today, and there's a full section full of Red Sex paraphernalia,,, in Manahttan!?!!

Alas, there's plenty of Red Sox fans here in NYC. They seem to have a habit of moving to New York when they get old enough to realize that Boston sucks, but for some reason they can't bring themselves do the proper thing and root for the Yankees.

I was actually happy to see the Red Sox win the World Series back in 2004 (everybody loves an underdog), but now they're just getting obnoxious... Thing is, I can't really give a shit about the Rockies one way or the other. I hope both teams lose.

the nl really ought to go to the dh. not that i think it makes the game better, but nl teams seldom have a true dh, ie a power hitter to fill the slot. usually its some bench warmer with eight homeruns etc. and it really becomes noticeable in the world serious. not that i blame the guy who was dh'ing for the rockies for their loss, but if the nl had a dh they would have a thirty homerun guy up there for 4 ab's a game. oh well. go colts!!!!
