I don't mean to nitpick, but wouldn't this be "deflated Monday"?

Sorry, I'm a brat. It's your thread.

Actually, I like deflated better, but somehow "de-inflated" cathces the blossoming optimism that gets inevitably quashed.

Actually, though, after a deflating start I had a really great day!

lb....my morning was filled with looking at proposed change orders I looked at three months ago and Partial Lien Waviers....sorting thru the end of a project. Where the contractor has done everything but right.....so I guess it was a silly kind of day to be an architect.
Go for 6,000!!! Ya Hoooo!

deflated/de-inflated - its the idea the counts, not the spelling.

de-inflation? that's when the amount of money available is superceded by the demand for money. i actually remember something from econ in college. though i have no idea how the lending crisis is going to reflect upon inflation... or deinflation. or deflation.

that's an average of just over 5 posts each and evevry day since you signed up...

do you
a: never get any work done
b: have interns that help inflate your comment numbers?

holz: - definitely a. That's why I'm online at 10pm, procrastinating the kitchen layout I need to be working on!

I really miss having coworkers......
