Since starting this thread, we've held 3 meetings which have generated quite a bit of interest in and amongst the local architecture community.
We've now been invited to participate in the upcoming Auckland Architecture Week and we're just trying to come up with some interesting ideas to catch people's attention and promote architecture.

We've now been invited to participate in the upcoming Auckland Architecture Week and we're just trying to come up with some interesting ideas to catch people's attention and promote architecture.
The key ideas being that:
-Objects that are simple, easy to make LOTS of
-with free, recyclable, otherwise inorganic everyday materials
-and possibly site specific to Auckland/ New Zealand/ the Pacific
-but most importantly to be low-cost and high impact!
