It's a great essay, the architect's got such a fortified MO when it comes to his practice, it's refreshing to hear it so coherently dissected and discussed, it's a good little book. Birkhauser (actar?) is coming out with a new book on about his studio (which his father designed), tracing the history of the space and comparing how it operated then vs. now; looks really interesting.

damn. i went on a huge spree recently, but may have to stock up on my VO

just closed, and they had 40% off everything in stock and a ton of other clearance deals, I spent more then I should have but got a lot that's been on my wish list for awhile.
