Can anyone assist with a simple wall panel question?

sanford

I am seeking a plaster 3-D wall panel that I have seen in high-end restaurants and clubs. It's modular, and makes the walls seem as though they are hand-carved in "waves" of plaster. They are like large tiles of plaster with a deep surface texture that plays very nicely with the light shining from above.

The seams are "grouted" with a plaster as well. These weren't around when I was in arch school. Does anybody know what I am talking about? Can you help point me to a website?

Thanks!

you should check out the coffee shop that Lewis Tsurimaki Lewis did. They cast plaster molds of coffee cup lids collected from the neighborhood. hopefully I will get the image to follow...

In "the good old days" we had Erwin Hauer. . .

I see his name is now put on some simplified "knock-offs" of the earlier work: CNC-cut MDF planes placed next to each other, for a similar effect.
